Brad is a National Board Certified Health and Wellness Coach, Metabolic Health Practitioner, LCHF/Keto Nutrition Professional, and Certified Personal Trainer focusing on Metabolic Health at his personal business Hormesis Health and Fitness LLC and previously at a Family Primary Care Medical Facility.

He has transitioned from a fast paced business and marketing career. Overcoming the consequences of Celiac Disease, he has maintained a careful lifestyle approach. Celiac left him fairly emaciated from which he reversed the condition, regaining his health and physique.

He coaches men and women in lifestyle so they may have the vitality they evolutionarily were meant to have, allowing them to avoid or reverse the 85% of chronic disease conditions associated with lifestyle and "Become Amazing" - Feel Well, Move Well, Perform Well.

His coaching and application of lifestyle have enabled many to manage insulin resistance and reverse pre-diabetic and type 2 diabetes conditions, including the host of related metabolic syndrome symptoms such as high blood pressure, central obesity, high triglycerides and low HDL. He has enabled clients to become "unmedicated" and "well". They attain improved body-composition and become metabolically healthy. Clients' "internal age" (arterial stiffness) becomes lower than their chronological age (actual). He doesn't treat disease.

He enables his clients to be good stewards of their bodies and "PreHab" their health and fitness.

Do we have something in common?

Every coach has a unique background and experience that makes them who they are. It gives them a special perspective, skill set and values.

When you connect with someone of similar values and goals, there is an opportunity for a great synergy beyond just coaching. You will tap the coaches passion and attain a great partnership. These are things that I want for myself.

Do they resonate with you?

  • I intend to live a long healthy quality life and when it's time, die quickly

  • I don't want any chronic disease. I don't want a triple heart bypass, carotid artery surgery, and high blood pressure like my father or to die of heart disease like my grandfather.

  • I don't want to be on medication. I am willing to live the lifestyle that promotes health even if it takes some effort. I am willing to monitor specific metrics about my health to know where I stand and make lifestyle changes as necessary rather than wait and have a disease condition and be told what to do.

  • I want to feel good, absent of pain. I want energy when I wake up and not be tired in the afternoon. I don't want to drink coffee because I can't keep my head up. (maybe because it’s flavorful and I want an indulgence)

  • I want to be strong and functional. I want to be able to keep my balance when I put my socks on while standing up. I want to be able to carry 40 five gallon shop vac containers of water up my basement stairs and out of my house with ease when it floods (that happened). I want to be able to spread a ton of crushed rock over my driveway with a hand shovel on a weekend. (maybe not again real soon)

  • I want to be mentally alert and witty. I do not want to experience the common cognitive decline such as Alzheimer’s and dementia.

  • I want to take responsibility for my health rather than just hand it over to someone else. I will take an educated approach to caring for myself and not just blindly conform to doctrine.

  • I believe I may be different, but “I am not broken” and will not treat myself or allow myself to be treated as such. I accept the genetics and biology I’ve been handed. My celiac disease and insulin resistance are part of my evolutionary past. I will care for myself in the way I was evolutionarily meant to, even if it means being unpopular in social settings or not conforming to cultural norms.

  • I want to be happy with my appearance both clothed and unclothed.

  • I want all my parts to function properly so I can have an amazing intimate relationship with my spouse.

  • I want a healthy cardiovascular, metabolic and musculature system. Because I enjoy it and it makes me healthy - I want to be able to do the Turkish get-up, kettlebell snatch, bench press, squats, deadlifts and pull ups. I want to be able to do HIIT (high intensity interval training). I will do these things to the maximum extent safe for my condition. I will strive to maintain and continuously improve my condition.
